Alice In Chains are set to be in the support role for the upcoming sold-out Guns N’ Roses shows happening April 8 and April 9 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.

Alice In Chains latest album, “The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here”, sold 62,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

“The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here” was Alice In Chains’ second album with William DuVall on vocals, filling the role of the late Layne Staley.

At this point, Guns N’ Roses have six shows scheduled in April: two at the Coachella Music And Arts Festival, two in Las Vegas and two in Mexico City.

The exact G n’R band lineup has yet to be confirmed, however original guitarist Izzy Stradlin recently confirmed that he would not be involved in any of the upcoming reunion shows via his Twitter page.

At this point, the only “original” members of the band involved are guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagen and singer Axl Rose.
