East-coast thrash metal pioneers ANTHRAX have apparently settled in to the studio to resume work on music for their next studio album.
Yesterday (Tuesday, March 22), the ANTHRAX Instagram account showed an update with a pic of guitarist Scott Ian, drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello in a recording studio, which included the caption: ” Forging new metal in an undisclosed location…. #anthrax”.

ANTHRAX celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2021 with a number of special events and livestreams amidst the worldwide pandemic. But that didn’t stop the New York thrash pioneers from making the most out of their 40 year celebrations with numerous streamed events and activities taking place throughout the year.
