According to frontman Corey Taylor, SLIPKNOT will be “dusting off” some of their older songs for their upcoming Knotfest Roadshow run of dates.

During a Q+A session at this year’s Mad Monster Party convention last month, Corey was asked if fans can expect some songs that have never been played live before during SLIPKNOT’s upcoming tour.

Corey replied: “I will tell you this — you’re gonna see some songs that haven’t been played live in a very long time, straight up. I just redid the set, and we’re dusting some stuff off, and we’re bringing out not only some old school shit, but stuff that people have been asking for for a long time. I’m gonna make them play it.”

At that point, fans began to shout out the names of some rarely heard SLIPKNOT tracks that they were obviously hoping to hear, like “Scissors” and “Custer.”

According to Setlist.fm (via Loudwire), SLIPKNOT have only played “Scissors” 90 times live and “Custer” 171 times throughout their touring career. There are more that have never even been performed live at all, which leaves the forthcoming setlist to the imagination at this point.

SLIPKNOT will kick off their Knotfest Roadshow tour later this month in Fargo, N.D. along with IN THIS MOMENT and JINJER.
