Dave Navarro and Chris Cheney from JANE’S ADDICTION have teamed up with Tayler Hawkins from FOO FIGHTERS to form the new band NHC.  You can check out two of the band’s songs, “Feed The Cruel” and “Better Move On”, below.

The paths of the musicians from NHC have crossed numerous times over the years, with Hawkins and Chaney played in Alanis Morissette’s backing band together. Chaney eventually moved on to JANE’S ADDICTION after the departure of Eric Avery and has played alongside Dave Navarro in their all-star covers bands CAMP FREDDY and ROYAL MACHINES.

Hawkins says Navarro is “the best lead guitarist in alternative rock,” and has fulfilled his desire to play alongside him finally. Meanwhile, Navarro has stated that the new project was an awakening of everything he loved about playing.

NHC will make their live debut on Saturday, Oct. 2, performing at the 2021 edition of the Ohana Fest Encore in Dana Point, California. And they state via their social media that there will be “plenty more to come” musically.
