David Lee Roth has shared a previously unreleased solo version of the VAN HALEN song “Panama”

At this point, it hasn’t been revealed when the version was recorded or who plays on the version of track, which was uploaded to Roth’s YouTube channel Thursday night (September 1).

This new version of “Panama” arrives just over a month since Dave shared a previously unheard solo recording from 2007 called “Nothing Could Have Stopped Us Back Then Anyway“, which is about his time in VAN HALEN. That particular track was recorded back in 2007 with guitarist John 5 and drummer Gregg Bissonette.

David Lee Roth isn’t doing much in the way of live performing these days. He recently canceled a series of Las Vegas residency shows back in January because of the COVID-19 pandemic, after just a few months earlier announcing in a talk with the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he was planning to retire from music altogether.
