“The Stadium Tour”, featuring DEF LEPPARD, MÖTLEY CRÜE, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS will finally get underway on June 16 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The 36-date run has been delayed a couple of times already, however is now officially getting underway this summer, wrapping up with a show on September 9 in Las Vegas.
DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott was recently asked in an interview with QFM96’s “Torg & Elliott” radio show which band would close the show every night on “The Stadium Tour”, to which Elliott replied: “Both of us are. We’re taking turns. [There are] 36 shows, so it’s 18 each. It’s all been worked out very scientifically. It’s the same way that we did it with JOURNEY in 2018 — exactly the same principle.”
“The Stadium Tour” will mark MÖTLEY CRÜE’s first live performances since wrapping their 2014/2015 “farewell tour”.
MÖTLEY CRÜE toured with POISON back in 2011 and DEF LEPPARD did a run of dates with POISON as well back in 2017, however the upcoming run will be the first time all four acts will hit the road together.
