Ultimate Jam Night at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California, will feature a special tribute to the “Big Four” of thrash metal (METALLICA, MEGADETH, SLAYER and ANTHRAX) on Tuesday, May 10.

Those announced as appearing at the event are former MEGADETH members David Ellefson and Jeff Young, as well as FEAR FACTORY and RAVEN drummer Mike Heller.

The upcoming Ultimate Jam Night appearance comes four months after Ellefson and Young reunited in L.A. to be interviewed for the upcoming documentary about late MEGADETH drummer Nick Menza called “This Was My Life: The Story Of Nick Menza”. The project sees Ellefson as a co-producer of the film who also provides narration in the documentary.

Ellefson was fired from MEGADETH a year ago after explicit sexual video footage involving the bassist and a young female fan was posted to Twitter.

David was in MEGADETH from the band’s inception in 1983 to 2002, and again from 2010 until his latest exit.

Jeff Young, whose entire career with MEGADETH was spent recording and touring in support of the band’s 1988 platinum-selling album “So Far, So Good…So What!” before splitting with the band.
