GOJIRA guitarist Christian Andreu has had to vacate the band’s current North American tour so that he can be home with his first newborn child.
Christian is being temporarily replaced on the road by Aldrick Guadagnino from the band KLONE.
Late Tuesday night (May 17),GOJIRA released the following statement via social media: “Christian returned home to be present with his first newborn child and so Aldrick Guadagnino of KLONE @kloneband stepped up to the plate and killed it! He will be with us until the end of this tour. Somehow we managed to find a French man that shreds the guitar and looks exactly like Christian!!! #gojira #klone #deftones #vowws #washington Also… massive shout out to our buddies of @vowwsband that couldn’t make it today. GOJIRA’s North American tour with DEFTONES kicked off on April 14 at Portland, Oregon’s Moda Center.
The run of dates had been postponed twice previously due to the global pandemic. (it was originally slated for summer 2020).
