KISS frontman Paul Stanley recently spoke out against “cancel culture” calling it “more dangerous than what it wants to cancel.”

Addressing the rising cancel culture concern in a tweet over the weekend (June 5), the KISS singer/guitarist wrote: “Day off and I find myself thinking ‘Cancel Culture‘ is more dangerous than what it wants to cancel. Is censorship and silencing people okay if you believe you’re right?? That is a slope we’re already slipping down. You defeat lies with truth, not gags.”

Paul has spoken out against “cancel culture” previously during a question and answer period with fans at a KISS VIP event back in September 2021, defending actress Gina Carano after she was let go from from Disney’s “The Mandalorian” over what some considered controversial social media posts.

Paul, at the time, said: “Look, political views… This whole cancel culture is so dangerous. The idea that people can’t speak their mind. That’s what freedom is all about. And to lose your job because you’ve got something to say — even if I find it offensive — that’s… we’ve gotta look at that. Plus she can kick my ass.”

KISS are currently on tour for their “End Of The Road” farewell tour which launched back in 2019 and is scheduled to end sometime in early 2023.
