KITTIE’s original lineup are set to reunite for an online chat to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of their 2000 debut album, “Spit”.

Yesterday, KITTIE posted the following message on their Instagram account: “Join us tomorrow on IG Live at 7:30pm EST for a little celebration of the 22nd anniversary of our debut album SPIT. We’ll hang out and answer some questions! #iglive #spit #happybirthday #joinus #kittie”.

KITTIE’s debut lineup consists of Morgan Lander (guitar, vocals), Mercedes Lander (drums), Fallon Bowman (guitar) and Tanya Candler (bass).

Candler left KITTIE after the release of “Spit” in order to finish high school and was replaced by Talena Atfield while Bowman vacated in 2001 and started her own industrial/electronic project, AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT.

After KITTIE completed the touring cycle for their 2011 release “I’ve Failed You”, the London, Ontario band entered an extended hiatus which saw Morgan Lander focus on a marketing job for a chain of fitness clubs while Mercedes worked in real estate and more recently at a software company.

KITTIE released a career-spanning documentary, “Origins/Evolutions” in 2018 via Lightyear Entertainment.
