brian head welch, Korn’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch set to release ‘wacky’ new book detailing his time away from Korn and return to the band…

Korn guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch recently revealed the working title of his fourth book.

‘With My Eyes Open’ will apparently focus on the guitarist’s life from 2005, when he quit Korn to explore spirituality, to his eventual return to the band.

Head spoke to Pittsburgh Music Magazine, saying, “It’s crazy. I found spirituality and I did have encounters with Christ – but I was around some wacky people too. I want through some crazy stuff like court cases, lawsuits…. So I’m writing about that.”

Korn will be wrapping up their tour dates this Fall, which is when the guitarist hopes to take it easy saying, “I just think it’s good to pull back a little bit then come back out – but we’ll see.”

Head has also expressed interest in further work with his side-project Love & Death. “I’d love to finish an album or at least get really far in, you know. Once you get the ideas I can just be working on the bus and it can come together pretty quick.”

Korn are currently co-headlining the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
