Virginia groove metallers LAMB OF GOD have dropped the official music video for the title track to their forthcoming album “Omens“. Check it out below.
The clip was co-directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts and is the second single to arrive from the upcoming record, following last month’s “Nevermore“.
LAMB OF GOD vocalist Randy Blythe says about the track: “I think a lot of the messes human beings find ourselves in could be very easily prevented simply by paying attention to obvious repeating patterns, both in our personal lives and in a broader sociohistorical context. What some call ‘omens’ are really just manifestations of the fact that there is nothing new under the sun. It’s foolish to ignore this, but we all do it.”
A number of special guests feature on the new track, including Ernie C and Juan Garcia of BODY COUNT, Toby Morse of H2O, Sara Taylor of YOUTH CODE and Wesley Eisold of COLD CAVE/AMERICAN NIGHTMARE.
LAMB OF GOD’s “Omens” will arrive on October 7 via Epic Records. You can also catch the band on any of the below scheduled live dates.
