Former KISS drummer Peter Criss, who officially retired from touring in 2017, has announced his to return to the stage.

The 76 year old drummer will appear with Australian rock band SISTERS DOLL during their upcoming show at The Cutting Room in New York city on May 22. The band also have a few other North American tour dates which can be found below.

SISTERS DOLL were the backup band for Peter Criss at his final show back in 2017, which also took place at The Cutting Room. The band have also been the backing band for former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick on his Australian tours in 2015 and 2017.

“After being in contact with him [Kulick] he gave us the opportunity to play with him,” drummer Bryce Lipz told the Bunbury Mail in 2017. “He and Peter Criss had been talking and he had copped wind that we were good musicians so that’s how we got the opportunity to play with him. It was so surreal.”

Original KISS members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss will perform together at this year’s Creatures Fest, which is set to take place May 27-29 at Nashville’s Sonesta Nashville Airport Hotel. Also scheduled to appear at the event are former KISS guitarists Bruce Kulick and Vinnie Vincent.
