Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister recently conducted a three-part “Life Lessons” series from Playboy where the icon talks about everything from chasing women, facing death, finding God, heroin and even UFOs.
Motorhead are set to release their 22nd studio album, “Bad Magic” on August 28, which was recorded at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood with longtime producer Cameron Webb.
Lemmy underwent an operation to implant a cardioverter-defibrillator into his chest back in 2013, then, suffered a hematoma soon after. Motorhead also had to cancel numerous shows earlier this year after Lemmy suffered a stomach problems.
The iconic frontman has now cut back on alcohol, replacing his Jack and Coke with Vodka and Orange Juice, as well as cutting back on cigarettes to a pack a week.’
Lemmy now has to walk with a stick because his legs “are fucked,” but he added: “Apparently I am still
indestructible.” The frontman still has no plans to retire, saying: “As long as I can walk the few yards from the back to the front of the stage without a stick. Or even if I do have to use a stick.”
