METALLICA performed “Nothing Else Matters” along with Miley Cyrus on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” earlier today (Thursday, September 9). You can check it out for yourself below.
METALLICA appeared with Miley on the Stern show in celebration of the upcoming release of the remastered deluxe box set of METALLICA’s self-titled fifth album — also known as “The Black Album” — which drops tomorrow (September 10) via the band’s own Blackened Recordings. Included in the set will be “The Metallica Blacklist” which is a covers album of numerous major recording artists doing their own renditions of songs from the iconic record. Cyrus is among the 53 musicians included on that release with her own version of “Nothing Else Matters” which also features Elton John, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith, Andrew Watt and METALLICA bassist Robert Trujillo.
Miley also performed her version of “Nothing Else Matters” at 2019’s Glastonbury festival in the U.K.
