Judas Priest has been on the road for alost 2 years in support of their latest effort, 2014’s ‘Redeemer Of Souls’ and will finally wrap the massive trek in December.
In the talk with Tipton, he speaks about being on the road, plans for a follow up album and his relationship with former co axeman K.K. Downing who left the band back in 2011. Downing cited his reasons for leaving the metal icons as: “There had been an on-going breakdown in working relationships between myself, elements of
the band and management for some time”. Downing stated that there were at least “21 reasons” why he decided to quit but refused to go into specific detail about them.
The band continued with new guitarist Richie Faulkner as Downing’s replacement.
