MARILYN MANSON Turned Himself In To New Hampshire Police, Now Out On Bail

Marilyn Manson turns himself in on assault charges in New Hampshire.

According to TMZ, Marilyn Manson has turned himself in to police on two outstanding warrants for misdemeanor simple assault in New Hampshire.

Manson, real name Brian Warner, apparently turned himself in to Los Angeles police last Friday (July 2), went through the booking process for New Hampshire while there and was then released on personal recognizance bail. Manson has agreed that he will not commit any crimes, contact the alleged victim, and to appear at all of his court hearings while out on bail.

This all goes back to an incident that took place in August 2019 with a videographer at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. Just this past May, the Gilford Police Department announced that they had an active arrest warrant for Manson in connection with the particular incident.

“The videographer had been subcontracted by a NH based company to video the concert, and had been located in the stage pit area when the alleged assaults occurred,” the statement read.

“The alleged assaults are not sexual in nature as has been asked by several other media outlets due to a number of other allegations made against Mr. Warner.”

Manson performed in Gilford, New Hampshire on August 19, 2019 as part of the co-headlining “Hell Never Dies” tour with Rob Zombie.

If convicted on the charges, Manson could face a jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $2,000.

In a statement, Manson’s attorney Howard King said: “It is no secret to anyone who has attended a Marilyn Manson concert that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of a camera. This misdemeanor claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply. This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout.”

That being said, three concert attendees , including an on duty security guard, told People that they saw the shock rocker spit and “shoot his snot” at the camerawoman.
