MELVINS have released a trippy music video for their cover of the SOUNDGARDEN track “Spoonman” which can be seen below.
Their version of the nineties hard rock classic appears on MELVINS’ new “Lord Of The Flies” EP and features SOUNDGARDEN drummer Matt Cameron playing alongside Dale Crover.
MELVINS originally performed the song as part of their set opening the I Am The Highway Chris Cornell tribute concert in Los Angeles back in January 2019.
The four-track “Lord Of The Flies” EP features two new MELVINS songs, “Never Say You’re Sorry” and “The Receiver & The Empire State” along with “Spoonman” and “Misty Mountain Urge”.
