MÖTLEY CRÜE’s much-anticipated “The Stadium Tour” along with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS will now close on September 9 at the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “The Stadium Tour”, which was originally planned for 2020 and later moved to 2021, will now kick off on June 16 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia and wrap up in Sin City instead of the initial September 7 date at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California.

A couple of months ago, bassist Nikki Sixx said that MÖTLEY CRÜE are still on track to finally launch their long-awaited reunion trek this year. (It’s not really THAT much of a reunion. I mean, they weren’t off the road THAT long if ya think about it. And then that embarrassing attempt at “pretending” to blow up a “cessation of touring agreement” which apparently nullifies said document, which quite honestly was a dumb idea to begin with.  Why did they feel the need to “solidify” that they wouldn’t be touring anymore?  Because everyone knew this would happen. That’s why. Wanna get out of a legally bound contract?  Blow it up dude! Good to know I guess. And a stupid PR stunt nonetheless. Anyways….back to the article. – Editor)

Sixx addressed the status of “The Stadium Tour” while answering a fan question on Twitter, saying: “We 100% plan on touring in 2022. See ya at the show.”
