MÖTLEY CRÜE will commence “full-band rehearsals” next week for “The Stadium Tour” with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS.
Yesterday (May 1), MÖTLEY CRÜE’s Nikki Sixx posted an Instagram selfie which included the following message: “Sunday May 1st 2022-First day off I’ve had in awhile. Full band rehearsals start next week. #Sunday #Sleep”.
The 36-date run of shows, which will wrap up on September 9 in Las Vegas, was originally scheduled to take place in the summer of 2020 but ended up being pushed back to 2021, and then to 2022, due to the pandemic.
Two months ago, Sixx commented on MÖTLEY CRÜE’s setlist for the upcoming trek in an Instagram post, writing: “[It was] great to spend the evening with @tommylee discussing #TheStadiumTour. Wait til you see the setlist. Hits,deep tracks and some cool surprises.@motleycrue Look forward to seeing @thevinceneil & @mr.mickmars and the whole crew at rehearsals soon”.
“The Stadium Tour” will mark MÖTLEY CRÜE’s first live performances since wrapping up their 2014/2015 “farewell” tour.
