MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil is “back home and resting” after breaking his ribs during a performance on Friday night (October 15).

Vince had a bit of a tumble while performing on stage at at the Monsters On The Mountain festival at LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, as he was encouraging the crowd to clap along with the 1989 MÖTLEY CRÜE song “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)”. The singer then apparently got a little too close to the edge of the stage, causing him to loose his footing and fall off the staging area completely.

Yesterday (Sunday, October 17), MÖTLEY CRÜE’s official Instagram was updated with the following message: “Vince is back home and resting after breaking a few ribs on Friday night. Our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery and ready to rock in ’22!!”

At Friday night’s concert, Vince’s bassist, Dana Strum (SLAUGHTER), told the crowd that “Vince fell and broke ribs when he fell,” adding that the singer “can’t breathe” and will be “dealt with medically.”

Vince’s solo band actually continued the set however, with guitarist Jeff Blando taking over lead vocals.
