Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary yesterday (Monday, July 4).
The couple have been married since 1982 when they exchanged nuptials in an intimate ceremony in Maui, Hawaii and have since had three children: Aimée, Kelly and Jack.
Ozzy shared a wedding photo on Instagram in celebration of the anniversary, which featured the caption: “40 Years Ago Today! Happy Anniversary My Love”.
Sharon also posted a photo to social media of her and Ozzy and wrote in an accompanying message: “2022 is a special year for me. It marks 40 years of marriage to my darling Ozzy. We first met when I was 18, over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband & wife, grandparents and soulmates. Always at each other’s side. I love you Ozzy”.
It was reported last month that Ozzy and Sharon were planning on renewing their wedding vows for their 40th anniversary.
Ozzy and Sharon previously renewed their wedding vows for their 35th wedding anniversary back in May 2017 at a ceremony held at The Wynn in Las Vegas.
After the 2017 ceremony, Ozzy told Hello! magazine: “For me, this was actually our real wedding day. This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning.”
