Ozzy Osbourne has discussed his decision to relocate from Los Angeles back to the U.K.

Osbourne, who turned 73 last December, recently told the Observer he was “fed up” with the number of mass shootings in the USA, adding that he didn’t want to die in America.

When asked by the Observer why the pair decided to return to the U.K. after spending so much time in California, Sharon insisted it had nothing to do with Ozzy’s health, which has been a rising concern amidst recent surgery to remove and realign pins in his neck and back. “I knew people would think that,” she said. “It’s not. It’s just time. America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now.”

Ozzy adds: “Everything’s fucking ridiculous there. I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s fucking crazy.

“And I don’t want to die in America. I don’t want to be buried in fucking Forest Lawn. I’m English. I want to be back. But saying that, if my wife said we’ve got to go and live in Timbuktu, I’ll go. But, no, it’s just time for me to come home.”

Ozzy Osbourne‘s European tour with JUDAS PRIEST is now set to take place more than four years after originally planned, and almost five years after tickets were first made available in September 2018.

Ozzy will release his new solo album “Patient Number 9” on September 9 f this year.
