Although no official announcements have been made, rumors circulate that PANTERA are set to play Brazil’s “Knotfest Brasil” and Mexico’s “Hell & Heaven Metal Fest” in December. U.S. dates will likely follow in 2023.
Last month, it was announced that surviving PANTERA members Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) would unite with guitarist Zakk Wylde (OZZY OSBOURNE, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and drummer Charlie Benante (ANTHRAX) for a world tour under the PANTERA name.
PANTERA will headline a number of major festivals across North America and Europe and also play some of their own headline concerts.
According to Billboard, the band has been given the go-ahead by the estates of the band’s founders, drummer Vincent “Vinnie Paul” Abbott and guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.
