Cryptosis frontman speaks with Loaded Radio.

This edition of The Loaded Radio Podcast sees Scott Penfold in discussion with CRYPTOSIS bassist Frank te Riet.

Signed to Century Media, CRYPTOSIS released their debut album, ‘Bionic Swarm’, back in April to great acclaim. The release is a concept album which takes an unflinching look at a terrifying, dystopian future through numerous character’s eyes at the same time as pounding your face with a serving of some welcome, yet brutal, death metal.

The Dutch trio were originally known as DISTILLATOR and released two albums of old-school thrash before deciding that a change of approach was in order. The result is the new band, a new sound and a debut album that will absolutely wreck your eardrums in the most blisteringly awesome way.

In the interview, Frank discusses the evolution of the band, the integration of numerous types of metal into their music, and so much more.

This is a debut album to get excited about. And a band that is certain to make it’s mark in a genre that is represented by ferocity and aggression.

The second half of the Loaded Radio Podcast has Loaded Radio’s Johnny Rude joining Scott Penfold from Las Vegas, Nevada for the weekly breakdown and discussion of the week and what’s going on in hard rock and metal.
