QUEENSRŸCHE guitarist Michael Wilton was recently asked about the possibility of original singer Geoff Tate and drummer Scott Rockenfield returning to the band at some point.
Speaking with FM radio station WPDH 101.5, Wilton responded: “I have nothing on any of that. It’s one day at a time as it is, and then what will be will be.”
Wilton went on to praise QUEENSRŸCHE’s current lineup, saying: “We’re just firing on all cylinders and we are just having a great time. The chemistry’s amazing. And we’re all very creative individuals and just prolonging the QUEENSRŸCHE legacy.”
He continued: “Casey’s (Grillo, drummer) amazing. He’s filled in the shoe for four years, and he’s just doing great, and he’s actually on the new QUEENSRŸCHE album.”
Wilton also stated that QUEENSRŸCHE’s follow-up to 2019’s “The Verdict” is “scheduled to come out in the late fall.”
QUEENSRŸCHE’s current lineup includes former CRIMSON GLORY vocalist Todd La Torre and ex-KAMELOT drummer Casey Grillo.
