3 quarters of the ‘Troops Of Doom’ lineup of SEPULTURA reunited onstage recently

Max and Igor Cavalera were joined by their former SEPULTURA bandmate, guitarist Jairo Guedz, live on August 4 in Curitiba, Brazil and on August 5 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The three quarters of the early SEPULTURA lineup performed the band’s classic track “Troops Of Doom“, which can be seen below via fan-filmed video.

Jairo’s current band, THE TROOPS OF DOOM, acted as the support act at the Curitiba, and Rio De Janeiro shows.

THE TROOPS OF DOOM dropped their debut album, “Antichrist Reborn”, back in April via Alma Mater Records. It is also digitally available via Blood Blast distribution.

Jairo played on SEPULTURA‘s first two releases, 1985’s “Bestial Devastation” EP and their 1986 debut, “Morbid Visions“.

Jairo quit SEPULTURA in early 1987 and was replaced by guitarist Andreas Kisser.
