SID WILSON On New SLIPKNOT Album : “All The Family Members Are Finished Recording Parts”

new slipknot album release date, SID WILSON On New SLIPKNOT Album : “All The Family Members Are Finished Recording Parts”

SLIPKNOT DJ Sid Wilson recently sat down with the Herald-Whig and was about the status of the band’s follow up to 2019’s “We Are Not Your Kind” album.

Sid He said: “Yeah, as far as I know, all the members are finished recording parts, and it should be in the final stages. Actually, it’s been kind of tough, with the COVID restrictions and everything, trying to get the studio sessions done. So it’s taken a little bit longer than I think we would like, but, yeah, we managed to get it nailed down.”

Regarding what we can expect from the new SLIPKNOT record, Wilson replied: “I don’t think everyone will ever be disappointed with what we do because we’re going to stay true to ourselves and do the music that we feel is necessary to get it all out. You know what I mean? It’s kind of a therapy session as well. I think when they listen to it, it comes through that way and not approaching it from the perspective of a rock star and what we think that the world would think of us for doing certain kind of creativity. We just want to give the most honest representation of ourselves on the whole as we can.”

SLIPKNOT’s next album is expected to include the single “The Chapeltown Rag” which was released last November. The effort was produced by Joe Barresi.
