TESTAMENT singer Chuck Billy was recently asked what his favorite album from the band’s massive thirteen disc catalog is.
Speaking with the Sobre La Dosis YouTube channel, Chuck said: “I would have to say it is the latest one, just because you know, I feel after 30 something years we’re still [able] to be creative and come up with new stuff, and push ourselves and our limits of what we do for songwriting and performance. So I think we’re getting like wine, getting better with age.”
TESTAMENT’s latest album that Chuck is referring to is 2020’s “Titans of Creation”. the thirteenth studio album by the thrash metal pioneers.
“Titans Of Creation” marked the first time since 1992’s “The Ritual” that the band had recorded more than one album with the same lineup, though it would turn out to be their last to feature drummer Gene Hoglan, who would split from TESTAMENT for the second time in January of this year.
That being said, TESTAMENT recently announced the addition of former SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo to their ranks. Lombardo is returning to TESTAMENT after briefly playing for the thrash metal group between 1998 and 1999 and playing on their 1999 effort “The Gathering”.
