SLIPKNOT Are Teasing Something Called ‘Knotverse’

slipknot knotverse, SLIPKNOT Are Teasing Something Called ‘Knotverse’

SLIPKNOT are currently teasing something new via their social media which they’re calling “Knotverse”.

Appearing on SLIPKNOT’s official Twitter page, the short video is accompanied by the caption “probably nothing…” which displays the band’s Knotfest logo which then turns into this new “Knotverse” logo all the while the song “742617000027”, off the band’s 1999 self-titled album, is playing.

Interesting indeed. Especially since The Sandbox seem to be in on whatever’s going on as they have a similar clip posted to their Twitter account, yet they are using the SLIPKNOT song “(515)” instead. The Sandbox is a “virtual gaming world where players can build, own, and monetize their gaming experiences” which is all connected to the metaverse concept.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD previously purchased “digital land” in The Sandbox back in 2021 which saw the band launch their own exclusive line of premium NFTs. Could SLIPKNOT be doing something similar? Could it have something to do to with the new SLIPKNOT album?

Who knows?  But it’s probably nothing.
