SLIPKNOT’s M. Shawn Crahan (a.k.a. Clown) has posted an update on his recovery after undergoing surgery to repair a torn bicep tendon in his left arm.

The SLIPKNOT percussionist’s injury happened on stage while the band were performing at Knotfest Los Angeles on November 5. Due to the required surgery, “Clown” was forced to miss the band’s gig at Welcome To Rockville the following week.

On Friday (November 19), Crahan shared a photo on his Instagram of a picture of his left arm in a wrap, along with the message: “Back in LA. Hopefully tomorrow I get to take this filthy wrap off my bruised cut up arm. Then onto the rebuild.”

“Clown” shared a 30-second black-and-white clip of the point in the show when he inflicted the injury soon after it happened. Despite the pain, Crahan finished out the set, playing four more songs.
