ARCH ENEMY’s Alissa White-Gluz and BUTCHER BABIES’ Heidi Shepherd are all set to star in the forthcoming horror film ‘The Virginia Bitches’.
(Update – Corey Taylor was initially reported to be a part of the film however he has since clarified via Twitter that he is in fact not involved. You can see his tweet below.)
From what we know at this point, the story revolves around a female vampire death metal band who are trapped in a town full of cannibals led by a Warlock. So yeah we’re sold!
The film is directed by Scott Hansen who is currently seeking financial backing via Indiegogo.
UNDEROATH keyboardist Chris Dudley is acting as both the film’s producer and score composer, while THE SONS OF DISASTER singer Dallas Taylor will executive produce and star as ‘Jerry‘ in the movie.
A few other notable names set to appear in ‘The Virginia Bitches’ are Doyle from MISFITS, Lajon Witherspoon from SEVENDUST, Scott Ian Lewis from CARNIFEX and Randy Blythe from LAMB OF GOD.
Check out the production trailer below.
I’m not sure how this started, but I want to be clear: I am NOT in a movie called ‘The Virginia Bitches’. My apologies to the fans, those involved with the film and all the media outlets who are reporting on it. Thank you.
