STAIND’s Aaron Lewis has had to cancel his upcoming solo concerts this weekend after having surgery to his appendix removed.
The STAIND frontman was scheduled to play in Davenport, Iowa on Friday (January 14), Inman, Kansas on Saturday (January 15) and in Springfield, Missouri on Sunday (January 16) yet all of those performances have now been cancelled so that he can recover.
Lewis shared a photo on social media of himself lying in a hospital bed along with the message: “No more appendix, and no shows this weekend but AFL is out of surgery, and doing just fine.”
As of late, Lewis has been labelled as an outspoken musician who has reinvented himself as a country artist over the last decade.
Lewis’s new solo album, “Frayed At Both Ends”, is due on January 28.
