Legendary AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler has once again entered a rehab facility in his continued struggle with drug and alcohol addiction.

The news of Steven’s recent relapse and return to rehab came from a statement from the remaining members of AEROSMITH who made a post to social media, which also informs fans that the band’s upcoming June and July “Deuces are Wild” residency shows in Las Vegas have now been canceled.

The statement reads: “As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery. We are truly sorry to inform our fans and friends that we must cancel our first set of Las Vegas Residency dates this June and July while he focuses on his well-being.”

Ticketholders for AEROSMITH‘s June and July residency dates will receive a refund if they were purchased through Ticketmaster.

“We are devastated that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans who often travel great distances to experience our shows,” AEROSMITH continued. “Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time.”

AEROSMITH‘s next scheduled performance is not set to take place September 4 in Bangor, Maine, before heading back to Las Vegas for another run of residency dates commencing September 14.
