THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER vocalist Trevor Strnad has revealed to Jamey Jasta in a new episode of The Jasta Show that he’s working on a new black metal band with guitarist Dan Gargiulo (ARTIFICIAL BRAIN, ex-REVOCATION).
When Strnad was asked about any possible side gigs with bands besides THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, he revealed that there are a few songs in the works with his new black metal act, however he would also like to get a punk band going on.
“I do have a couple of things brewing right now. I have a black metal band in the works with Dan from Artificial Brain. I’m sitting on like, five songs and trying to work out vocals for that. I’d really love to do a punk band again. Something that’s just easy, you know? Like, musically simplistic. A lot less labor-intensive than The Black Dahlia Murder.”
