The latest edition of THE LOADED RADIO PODCAST features KK’s PRIEST frontman Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens.
In the discussion this week, Tim talks about the new KK’s PRIEST album, ‘Sermons Of The Sinner’, critical “fans”, working with guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen, his current thoughts on JUDAS PRIEST, working with ICED EARTH and Jon Schaffer and tons more.
KK’S PRIEST features former JUDAS PRIEST members K.K. Downing (guitar) and Tim “Ripper” Owens (vocals), along with guitarist A.J. Mills (HOSTILE), bassist Tony Newton (VOODOO SIX) and drummer Sean Elg (DEATHRIDERS, CAGE). Original KK’S PRIEST drummer Les Binks (ex-JUDAS PRIEST), who was originally involved, unfortunately, sustained a wrist injury, but will make special guest live appearances when the band tours.
KK’S PRIEST released their their debut album, “Sermons Of The Sinner”, on October 1 via Explorer1 Music Group/EX1 Records. The band have plans to tour later this year with some Ripper-era JUDAS PRIEST songs tossed into the mix, and Binks hopes to make appearances at shows.
