The members of QUEENSRŸCHE wished current drummer Casey Grillo a “Happy 45th Birthday” onstage this past Saturday, October 16 at the Arcada Theater in St. Charles, Illinois. You can watch fan-filmed footage below.

Before leading the audience in a rendition of “Happy Birthday”, QUEENSRŸCHE singer Todd La Torre said: “This guy’s been playing with us for almost five years now. He has dedicated every waking moment to doing just such a phenomenal job for QUEENSRŸCHE. And we love this guy. He’s family. He’s like a brother to all of us. We couldn’t ask for a better person to do what he does with us. Thank you so much for everything you do.”

As previously reported, original QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield has filed a lawsuit against fellow original members Michael Wilton (guitar) and Eddie Jackson (bass), alleging a string of complaints including, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and wrongful discharge.

Rockenfield’s lawsuit, which also names Wilton and Jackson’s wives as defendants, comes nine months after he shot down suggestions that he quit QUEENSRŸCHE or retired from playing music.
