TOOL drummer Danny Carey is scheduled to appear in court next month in relation to the incident he was involved in at the Kansas City airport this past weekend.
Carey was arrested this past Sunday, December 12th after allegedly having a physical altercation with a security employee at the airport.
Billboard have obtained a copy of the citation issued by the Kansas City Airport Police, which states that the TOOL drummer allegedly used a homophobic slur during the incident.
The citation states: “[Carey] did intentionally cause and unlawful, offensive contact upon [redacted] by yelling at the complaintant ‘you’re a f—ing f—-t repeatedly and jabbed the complainant in the chest repeatedly.”
Video footage of Carey‘s arrest emerged within 24 hours online via TMZ.
Carey, who makes his court appearance on January 12, was charged and booked with misdemeanor assault and released on bond shortly thereafter.
