Video: FOO FIGHTERS Bring GENE SIMMONS On Stage During Las Vegas Show

Foo Fighters brought Gene Simmons on stage during their December 4 show at Park MGM's Dolby Live theater in Las Vegas.

You can check out fan-filmed footage of FOO FIGHTERS bringing KISS’ Gene Simmons on stage during their December 4 show at Park MGM’s Dolby Live theater in Las Vegas below.

FOO FIGHTERS singer/guitarist Dave Grohl had apparently noticed a fan near the front who looked a lot like Gene, and then addressed the real KISS bassist/vocalist who had been standing side stage. Gene, complete with a face mask, walked out and waved to the crowd and apparently handed Grohl a bill as a token of his gratitude.

Gene has mentioned his appreciation for the FOO FIGHTERS previously during an interview with Gulf News. While doubling down on his claim that the rock genre was “finally dead,” he said: “Rock is dead. And that’s because new bands haven’t taken the time to create glamor, excitement and epic stuff. I mean, FOO FIGHTERS is a terrific band, but that’s a 20-year-old band.”
