THE WEDDING BAND, the project featuring METALLICA guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo, along with DEATH ANGEL singer Mark Osegueda, QUEENS OF THESTONE AGE drummer Jon Theodore and BAD WOLVES guitarist Doc Coyle, took the stage last night (Friday, May 27) at Jam Cellars Ballroom at Margrit Mondavi Theatre in Napa, California.
The concert was part of the “BottleRock Afterdark” performances that are taking place in conjunction with this year’s METALLICA co-headlined edition of the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival, which is currently happening this weekend (May 27-29) at the Napa Valley Expo in Northern California.

As for METALLICA, Kirk Hammett confirmed over a year ago that the band have commenced work on the follow-up to 2016’s “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct“.
