Original KISS drummer Peter Criss has shared two new drum solo videos to celebrate the arrival of the new year.

Peter has posted a couple of new clips of him playing a “rock drum solo” and a “Spanish drum solo” which can be seen below.

Criss, who just turned 76, first left KISS in 1980 and was replaced by Eric Carr. Peter went on to work with a number of other musical acts and also released five solo albums. He reunited with KISS in the 1990s and most recently in 2004 before his final departure from the make up clad group in March 2004. He was replaced by returning drummer Eric Singer.

Criss, who was known as “Catman,” released his last solo CD, titled “One For All”, in 2007. Peter produced the album himself and was joined by guest musicians that included keyboardist Paul Shaffer and bassist Will Lee of “Late Night With David Letterman”.

Peter played what he called his final U.S. performance in June 2017 at the Cutting Room in New York City.
