TOOL have been pulling out some deep or rarely heard songs on the current US leg of their “Fear Inoculum” tour. The band even pulled out the title track to their 1993 debut album “Undertow” for the first time in almost 20 years at a recent show in Detroit.
The group tore into the track during their set at the Little Caesars Arena on Thursday, March 3, marking the first time TOOL have played the song live since April 29, 2002. You can check out fan-filmed footage below.
TOOL recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of their debut EP, “Opiate”, with a reworked and extended version of the title track, retitled “Opiate²”.
The re-imagined version of “Opiate” will be accompanied by a Blu-ray on March 18 providing a “visual companion” to the reworked track.
TOOL will commence their 2022 European trek on April 22 in Copenhagen, Denmark. You can see dates below.
