A new video has made it’s way online courtesy of YouTube channel Justin Newton which features a clearly visible onstage teleprompter to help MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil get through each performance.

The uploaded clip is from MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s July 5 concert in St. Louis, Missouri as part of their current “The Stadium Tour” which features them along with DEF LEPPARD, POISON and JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS.

For those unaware, a teleprompter is a display screen that prompts the person speaking or singing with a visual text of their script or song lyrics. It is used by such notable frontmen as JUDAS PRIEST‘s Rob Halford and BLACK SABBATH‘s Ozzy Osbourne and is generally known to be used by artists who’s memory may not be as great as it once was due to age or other related issues.

The Stadium Tour” marks MÖTLEY CRÜE‘s first trek since wrapping up its 2014/2015 “farewell tour”.

MÖTLEY CRÜE toured with POISON back in 2011 and DEF LEPPARD teamed up with POISON for a run of dates in 2017, but this trek marks the first time all four acts have hit the road together.
