VOLBEAT frontman Michael Poulson has said that he will eventually return to his death metal roots, when the time is right for it.
Poulsen, before forming VOLBEAT, fronted the death metal band DOMINUS who released an album in 1995 called “View The Dim”. In a recent interview with Finland’s Chaoszine, Michael said that he plans to definitely return to the genre, however it’s just a matter of when.
Poulson says: “It’s gonna happen one day; I just don’t know when. It’s gonna be at a time when I feel it’s the right time where I’m just inspired to do that. I have so many great friends in the death metal community, and I’ve been talking to a lot of them. I just know it’s gonna happen. I just don’t know when.”
