SLIPKNOT wrapped up their headlining set at Knotfest Iowa 2021 with a tribute to late past members Joey Jordison (drummer) and Paul Gray (bassist).

SLIPKNOT visually honored the late members following a performance of the song “Surfacing,” a track written by Gray, Jordison and lead singer vocalist Corey Taylor off the group’s debut album.

You can watch fan-filmed footage of the tribute below.

Jordison died in July at age 46. In a statement, his family said, “Joey’s death has left us with empty hearts and feelings of indescribable sorrow. … Those that knew Joey understood his quick wit, his gentle personality, giant heart and his love for all things family and music.”

Paul Gray died of an overdose of morphine and fentanyl in May of 2010. He was 38 years old.
