Watch The NHL’s DETROIT RED WINGS Use THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER As Entrance Music

Turns out the lighting director at Little Caesars Arena where the Detroit Red Wings play might be a metalhead.

The Detroit Red Wings entered the rink for a recent game against the Winnipeg Jets while THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER’s “On Stirring Seas Of Salted Blood” blasted through the arena as the Michigan NHL hockey team hit the ice.

You can check out footage below courtesy of Instagram user “maggot_food”, who also happens to be the lighting director at Little Caesars Arena where the Red Wings play.

The Instagram post also had the accompanying message: “30 seconds of Detroit Death Metal

“‘On Stirring Seas of Salted Blood,’ by @theblackdahliamurder_official for player walk out for the Detroit Red Wings.

“Lighting and song choice done by yours truly through 4Wall Entertainment.”
