MUDVAYNE’s second reunion show saw the band take the stage over the weekend at the Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California which also proved to be the debut of a second guitarist and background vocalist within the group.
The new guitarist is a musician named Marcus Rafferty, a well known guitar technician who has previously worked with the likes of LAMB OF GOD, HATEBREED and countless other heavy acts, including MUDVAYNE. Rafferty has also put time in as a guitar tech and stage manager for MUDVAYNE frontman Chad Gray’s other band HELLYEAH,
According to Rafferty’s Facebook page, he joined MUDVAYNE back in April of this year, yet it remains unclear why he did not take the stage with the group at their first comeback show at the Inkcarceration festival back in September.
